Viva, Las Vegas Day 2

This is where we stayed. We got an amazing deal; $20 per night.
The volcano at the Mirage. It erupts every night.

Outside the Mirage Hotel.

Inside the Mirage at Revolutions; a Beatles lounge.

The highlight of day 2 was going to the Sigfried and Roy's Dolphin Exhibit and Lion Habitat.

Waiting in line to get in.

This is from below the pool where Bella and her mom were swimming around.

Patiently waiting for one of the "non scheduled training sessions."

I'm sharing the gospel with all the world while enjoying the dolphins behind me.

The dolphins would come up and pose for pictures, and we were able to get so close.

Allie and Nadia got wet by one of the dolphins swimming around splashing people in his way.

One of the dolphins in mid flight. I think he was doing a flip or a twist?

Doing a back flip.

Wanting some fish.

After the dolphins, we visited the Secret Garden. I don't think it was much of a secret cause it was packed.

This lion had a huge main. He was so pretty.

This is a white tiger.

Off to Caesar's Palace for the light show.

Once inside Caesar's Palace, we watched the animatronic light show, but not before getting lost inside the Forum Shops. They had these huge statues.

Brian getting "knocked out" by Rocky Balboa inside the Hard Rock Cafe at Caesar's Palace.

We ventured to the Flamingo Hotel to see the flamingos of course.
I know what you are thinking, they do not match. I know red and pink. Ugh! Brian didn't get the memo that he is supposed to coordinate his outfits to mine. Maybe tomorrow will be better.

After several attempts at getting a family photo, I finally got the right setting on the timer and BAM! here we are.

Viva, Las Vegas Day 1

We left at 4:30am Monday, March 29 and after several hours in the car we decided to stop somewhere in Utah for lunch and gas.

Back on the road somewhere in Arizona.

We finally got to Las Vegas around 2pm and stopped at my favorite place, In and Out Burger. Yum!

Time to see the sights; New York, New York

Red and Yellow outside of M&M world.

M&M race car inside M&M world

So many colors, and this is not all.

We stopped in the Coke store so I could enjoy an ice cold bottle of Coke.

It was getting dark so we spent some time inside the hotels checking out what they had to offer.

Rock'em Sock'em Brian and Brian

Nice...if you're a Viking fan.

Allie and Nadia with Sponge Bob inside the Luxor.

Happy Birthday, Jennifer Ruth Arnett Owings

Today my kids' mom would have been 34. I took the girls to visit her grave and shine it up. Little B was not quite ready for that so he opted to stay home. Maybe next year.

These sweet hands have grown so much since she's been gone.

Happy 14th Birthday Caitlyn!

She looks so bored....

This was Caitlyn's dessert of choice. I made it all by myself.

A present from Grandma and Grandpa Arnett

and a new sleeping bag from mom and dad for all those cold nights when we go camping this summer.

I wish I were an Oscar Mayer Wiener

It's not everyday you see a giant wiener driving arount city, so we had to stop. I've been alive almost 34 years and I've never come face to face with such a wonder as the Oscar Mayer Wienermobile. I mean it was right here in my hometown of Meridian, Idaho. I know, I know, you are all really jealous. But don't be! Someday you may get lucky too! You must be patient. And when your time finally comes, be sure to ask for a wiener whistle.

Gulp Gulp Gulp

Little B started this sillieness, and then Nadia elaborated.

This just makes me laugh!

I've always wanted to taste rabbit stew.

Just kidding. These are the latest in the long line of pets my kids think they need. (hamsters, gerbils, rats, fish....)
The girls begged me for these rabbits and on the condition that I didn't have to pay for them or take care of them in any way, I agreed. They have been working as a team doing feedings, playing and poop scooping. I have to admit they are pretty cute, and the dog likes them too.

I can always find a reason to take a photograph.
