Tired of the same old Christmasy photos

One of the ornaments I got the kids this year. It's made by Willow Tree and I just love it!

Go Colts!

This was handmade from an old coworker in Seattle, and I've had it since 1997. It has 2 more with it and they are some of my favourite things to see every year.

Gotta love the snowflakes

Our beautiful Angel.

I love the bows!

One of my favorites is this angel made for me by an old coworker back home.

Icicles and red bulbs, so pretty!

I discovered my image in the ball while I was taking this.

Good old Santa Clause

Dishwasher left open, and lights on.....

Dirty stove.....
Dishes in the sink.......(it doesn't look like a lot, but the others are not in the picture.)

Piles of laundry.....

Happy Thanksgiving!

Family picture time! Yeah, I know we just spent all day cooking and stuffing our faces, but smile!

Me and my baby.

Ok, so it's a posed photo, (and not a very good one at that) but who cares, it's still cute!

A visit to the Linder Farms Corn Maze and Pumpkin Patch

First we went on a hayride. This was the first time we've ever gone at night time, so it was a different experience for us all.
Nadia and Allie split off and got lost in the corn maze. Thankfully we found them later on the bridge waiting for us. (They were scared.)
Caitlyn and Brian had a great time trying to scare everyone.
It was a little chilly, but we still had fun.
One last picture before we went home.

Grandma Linda came to vist, finally.

My mom came to spend the week with us and we all enjoyed seeing her after 8 months. The time was too short, but we all had a great time.

We visited Katherine Albertson Park and the fall colors were so pretty.

There is a huge tree trunk at the park, so we had to stop for a picture.

We visited the train depot and got a view of downtown Boise.

Grandma watched Brian's last football game of the season. Unfortunately they lost.

Salt Lake City, Utah

Caitlyn, Sarah, Madison, and I took a trip to Salt Lake City, Utah to listen the the Prophet at General Conference. We had a wonderful trip with lots of spiritual snacks, including watching a movie about Joseph Smith, and going to the church history museum. Going to the Conference Center with 21,000 other people to listen to the Prophet was worth the 6 hours we spent in the car each way.

Playing some football

Brian is doing an amazing job in his 4th year of football. His team has won all but 1 game this year. He is kickin bum and taking names. He is #22, in maroon.

My Cheerleaders!

Aaaaah, the first day of school! A mother's favorite part of the end of summer. Allie is starting 4th grade, and will be all alone at her school this year for the very first time. Brian is starting middle school, but will have his sister's there to help him out. Nadia is in 7th grade, and Caitlyn is in 8th. I'm looking forward to another great year!

Owings family camping trip minus Shelbie

A few weeks ago, my sister-in-law, Cheri and my niece Paige, my mother-in-law, father-in-law, my niece Hannah (missing my sister-in-law, Shelbie) my husband, kids and myself all went camping near Crouch, Idaho for a few days of fun in the sun. There was a nice creak down the hill from the campsite the kids loved playing in, and Brian and I set our tent up in this tiny patch of open space so we could sleep to the sound of the water. We all had a great time together and enjoyed the great outdoors.
